Doing laundry and reading Ebert’s Newman obit. A great person, a very suitable, moving tribute.
God, I’m so out of the internet habit. I sort of don’t know where to start, acting like my computer is still disconnected.

Cable guy made his window with 45 minutes left. Yay Internet is almost here!
2nd place at the Wedge!
Wish I had a decent camera. The sunset is reflecting off the buildings downtown: rich golden orange set against a deep blue evening sky.
Beautiful day for a bike race. Cold wind reminding it’s Autumn though.
Sprawling suburban apartment complexes are far uglier than the feared Great Townhome Plague of urban Seattle.
Really tired of customers. Calling into job prospect Monday. Getting Internet installed on Tuesday.
I’m starting to find that if a site doesn’t have an RSS feed, I have no use for it.
Every Saturday morning, the neighbors downstairs get in a screaming match.
Seemed like a largely disappointing debate to me. Don’t think anybody “won” or “lost”, but I did think Obama could have done a lot better.
Watching West Seattle be hopping while I steal internet from a closed coffee shop and wait for the 55 night shuttle.
Yes, energy is important. We can all agree.
He said, He said.
John McCain appears to be attempting to label himself Miss Congeniality
“Senator, what about talking?”
Busting out the soldier bracelet!
If you need to strike in Pakistan, you strike in Pakistan. You don’t say it out loud!
My friends!
Already sick of the Wall Street/Main Street cliché
election.twitter.com could give me ADD. Or, on the other hand, it reassures me that I don’t have it.
Heading for a debate-viewing at the house of @mikeclauss
Guess I’m a JP Morgan Chase customer now? I’m sad to see WaMu go.
Heading to the ATM to print out a statement. Can’t be too careful.

Nothing more annoying than listening to pseudo hipster teenagers discuss music.
In Soviet Russia, egg beats *you*.
Kind of like a mafia movie slap: “I don’t think you appreciate what it is we’re doin’” They cried then agreed to go along with our plan.
Had a dream my brother and I were going around to all the big bank CEOs to fix the econ. There was snappy dialogue and then we slapped them.
Palin is going to meet Kissinger, along with some heads of state. God, I’d love to listen in on that.
Nothing beats a good Dragonwell. The Chinese have forgotten more than the Japanese will ever know about tea.
Just had a fun time at Mission with @thelittlebird, who needs to get back on Twitter!
Aaand a bunch of drunks have wandered out of Lincoln Park onto my bus to leer at my flowers.
Just found out our beer thief at Husky works at the Zatz Bagels nearby. I’m gonna have a word with the owner.
One of the great moments in music is that little guitar bit right at the start of Al Greene’s “Love and Happiness”
Considering stiffing the bartender. I only come here once every couple years anyway.
Just saw a car blasting churchy chamber music plastered with “I <3 Palin” stickers. Creepy church lady with lots of big rings inside.

Just saw Elisa downtown! Should get her back on Twitter… http://tinyurl.com/3mj2fk
The only problem with the library is how people here seem to like to stretch and yawn very loudly.
iTunes 8 Genius feature is brilliant for usability. It makes massive music libraries accessible again, by crossing shuffle with hand-picked.
The late 70s seriously produced some of the most execrable popular music known to man.
OS X 10.5.5 is out, just in time for my lunch break with the restaurant next door’s wifi. Too bad it’s a little too big to download now.
Dude parked in front of the laundromat is listening to a rap ode to West Seattle.
