I’ve almost forgotten that my Netflix subscription has a disc element since I’ve gotten the streaming setup on my Xbox. Sure, there’s better selection on disc, and therefore more good movies, but it is so amazingly easy to just throw a bunch of stuff I might mean to see someday in my instant queue and use it like an entire DVD shelf of stuff I’d like to see someday. The only hindrance to this is Netflix’s increasingly cluttered and slow site. In for the save is instantwatcher.com, with a perfect mix of text and light javascript. Fast and simple, and it looks like you can search Hulu content as well, which is only icing on the cake.
UPDATE
It looks like the Hulu stuff is just links to the Hulu site, but I love this raw data view of Netflix. Particulary revealing: the most popular item in the Watch Instantly section is “Kama Sutra: The Secrets to the Art of Love”
