The Oak Island Money Pit
I’ve heard of this place before, but I ran into an article on it this morning thanks to the wonderful, Instapaper-affiliated Give Me Something To Read. It’s like something out of your wildest, piratest dreams. It’s like an adventure where Tom Sawyer and Indiana Jones team up. And people have been trying to excavate this thing for two hundred years! I’m actually pretty surprised that a group like the Discovery Channel or History Channel haven’t put together a big special on “getting to the bottom of this”, especially with a catchy name like “The Money Pit”. I know I’d be watching.
